CATANIA, SICILY / YUGEN EXPERIENCE

Catania club nights.
Global connections.

Yugen Experience is a Catania-based music platform and community connecting local and international scenes through global sounds, hip hop, UK garage, afro and electronic music.

Looking for an underground party in Catania? Explore Yugen’s official calendar below. Each night has its own programme and venue: check the individual event before planning your visit.

What music does Yugen play?

Yugen moves between global sounds, hip hop, UK garage, bassline, techno, dancehall, shatta and afro. The selection depends on the guests and the programme of each night.

For the summer 2026 season, Floral Room, Boa and Isla offered three distinct dancefloors: global sounds, hip hop and garage; techno and electronic music; dancehall, shatta and afro.

Connecting Catania to international scenes

The summer 2026 programme included WAV.KR from Seoul, Akeem for the Milan Connection, Ryota from Osaka and Antídoto from Madrid. Mixmag Italia, Parkett and Sicilia Live covered the season and its connections with international underground scenes.
